Job Overview
Government departments are currently looking for hardworking and dependable individuals to fill Cleaner positions. Successful candidates will help maintain clean, hygienic, and safe working environments for employees and visitors within government facilities.
Main Responsibilities
Duties will include:
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming work areas.
- Cleaning and sanitising offices, restrooms, meeting rooms, and other assigned areas.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste properly.
- Cleaning mirrors, windows, and glass surfaces.
- Maintaining cleanliness in hallways, staircases, and reception/lobby areas.
- Following workplace cleaning procedures and safety standards.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should:
- Have at least Grade 9 or ABET qualification (or equivalent).
- Be physically fit and capable of manual work.
- Be able to work independently and within a team.
- Have good organisational and time-management skills.
- Pay attention to detail and maintain high cleaning standards.
