Opportunities include our\u00a0Retail Readiness Programme<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0Youth Employment Services (YES) initiative.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n Overview:\u00a0<\/strong>This skills programme provides young people, who are without previous work experience, with the basic skills to work in a retail environment.\u00a0It comprises of five weeks of practical training and two weeks of theory, and successful participants receive a NQF level 3 qualification upon completion.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Requirements:\u00a0<\/strong>South African youth between 18 and 34 years with No previous work experience.\u00a0Grade 12 \/ Matric or an equivalent qualification.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n Overview:\u00a0<\/strong>The\u00a0Youth Employment Service\u00a0is a business-driven initiative with government and labour departments that builds economic pathways for youth to help reduce unemployment.\u00a0The programme provides 12 months of on-the-job training where participants are exposed to various parts of the retail business. On completion, successful YES learners are skilled to work in retail or start their own retail business.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Requirements:\u00a0<\/strong>South African youth between 18 and 34 years.\u00a0Grade 12 \/ Matric or equivalent qualification.
