operational activities and merchandising in store that leads to a positive customer experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">-To efficiently execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">-To maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment for goods purchased, including actioning clubcard rewards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">-To ensure the safe handling of cash at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">-To proactively promote the Clicks&#8217; clubcard and to enroll new clubcard members in order to achieve the clubcard participation targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">-To make customers aware of promotions in order to positively affect sales and to ensure customers &#8220;feel good and pay less&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">-To deliver superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador, being visible and offering a friendly and professional service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">-To efficiently execute and maintain all merchandising and general housekeeping duties according to store and visual merchandise standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">-To support the Group\u2019s vision to be the customer\u2019s first choice health and beauty retailer by living and driving the company values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">-To maintain updated knowledge on products, ranges, promotions and events in order to provide the correct information to customers at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list ul1\">\n<li>Essential: Grade 12<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Desirable: Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Desirable \/ Advantageous:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Experience in a customer facing role within a retail\/FMCG store operations environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Knowledge,&nbsp;Skills and Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">-Basic maths calculations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">-Retail\/FMCG background and understanding of merchandising and promotions principles<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">-Understanding of stock management procedures&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">-Knowledge of customer service excellence<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">-Planning and organising skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">-Problem-solving skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">-Strong customer orientation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
