Position Summary<\/strong><\/h3>\n

As a Food Preparation Associate (Cook), your main responsibility is to prepare and cook all KFC products in strict accordance with KFC\u2019s standard operating procedures (SOPs)<\/strong>, ensuring that every item served meets our high-quality and safety standards. You will work within the back-of-house kitchen team and play a crucial role in delivering consistently excellent meals to our valued customers.<\/p>\n

This role involves precise food handling, cleanliness, preparation, and cooking. It also includes equipment use, cleaning procedures, temperature monitoring, and strict adherence to health and safety regulations<\/strong>. Your attention to detail, discipline, and love for food will help KFC deliver great taste, every time.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n

1. Food Preparation and Cooking<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    Prepare all menu items strictly in accordance with KFC recipes, standards, and SOPs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Follow assigned preparation checklists and cooking timelines.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Portion ingredients and cooked items accurately using KFC-approved measurements and tools<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Operate fryers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment as trained, following safe handling guidelines.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Monitor food holding temperatures and times, ensuring all products are stored and held properly before serving.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    2. Health, Hygiene & Safety Compliance<\/strong><\/h4>\n

      Maintain strict hygiene standards<\/strong> during all food handling activities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Ensure all surfaces, utensils, and equipment used in food preparation are sanitized<\/strong> according to cleaning schedules.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Follow and enforce health and safety guidelines as mandated by local food safety authorities and Yum! Brands\u2019 internal policies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Record product expiration dates and monitor shelf life to ensure product freshness and minimize waste.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Adhere to FIFO (First In, First Out)<\/strong> stock rotation and labeling systems.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      3. Equipment and Kitchen Maintenance<\/strong><\/h4>\n

        Clean and maintain kitchen tools and appliances before, during, and after shifts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        Report any equipment malfunctions or hazards to supervisors immediately.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              Maintain records of cleaning schedules, waste logs, and quality audits as directed by your supervisor.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the Restaurant General Manager, Assistant Manager, or Shift Supervisor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Minimum Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n

              To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:<\/p>\n

                Education:<\/strong> Minimum Grade 10 (Grade 12 preferred).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                Experience:<\/strong> At least 6 months of experience in food preparation or kitchen work<\/strong> (QSR experience is an advantage).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
