The Retail Skills Development Program<\/strong> is designed to equip youth with the foundational knowledge and practical experience needed to thrive in the fast-paced retail industry. This program provides an exciting opportunity for individuals with little or no previous work experience to gain both theoretical training and hands-on, in-store exposure.<\/p>\n

Over the course of seven weeks, participants will receive comprehensive training focused on customer service, merchandising, stock handling, and retail operations. Those who complete the program successfully will be awarded an NQF Level 2 Certificate<\/strong> in retail practice\u2014an accredited qualification that can significantly boost future employment prospects. Top-performing individuals may also be considered for permanent roles in-store.<\/p>\n

    Minimum Entry Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    To qualify for the Retail Skills Development Program, candidates must meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n

      Minimum Grade 10 pass<\/strong> (Matric \/ Grade 12 is advantageous)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Alternatively, successful completion of the Retail Readiness Program (RRP)<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Age:<\/strong> Preferably between 18 and 35 years<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Unemployed<\/strong> and not currently studying full-time<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          Key Duties During Practical Training<\/strong><\/h3>\n

          As a Retail Skills Development Program trainee, you will be responsible for supporting daily store operations. Duties may include:<\/p>\n

          1. Customer Service<\/strong><\/h4>\n

            Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly, helpful manner<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            Answering customer inquiries and helping them find products<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            2. Point-of-Sale (POS) Support<\/strong><\/h4>\n

              Assisting cashiers with packing and organizing purchases<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
