What is the YES Learnership?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The YES (Youth Employment Service) Learnership is a government-backed initiative aimed at addressing youth unemployment by providing structured work experience<\/strong> to young people. As part of this initiative, Foschini<\/strong>\u2014one of South Africa\u2019s most iconic fashion retail brands and a part of The Foschini Group (TFG)<\/strong>\u2014offers a 12-month retail learnership<\/strong> where you\u2019ll gain on-the-job training<\/strong>, professional development, and exposure to the fast-paced world of fashion.<\/p>\n

    Who Should Apply?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    To be considered for this learnership, you need to meet the following minimum criteria<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

    \u2714 Age<\/strong>: You must be between 18 and 28 years old<\/strong>
    \u2714 Education<\/strong>: A minimum of Grade 10 is required<\/strong> (although having Matric is preferred<\/strong>)
    \u2714 Employment Status<\/strong>: You must not have been permanently employed<\/strong> by the same employer for more than 12 months
    \u2714 Study Status<\/strong>: You should not be enrolled in full-time studies<\/strong> at any time during the learnership period (April 2023 \u2013 March 2024)
    \u2714 YES Program<\/strong>: You must not have previously participated<\/strong> in the YES initiative
    \u2714 Availability<\/strong>: You must be available and committed<\/strong> to complete the full 12-month learnership<\/strong>
    \u2714 Logistics<\/strong>: You\u2019ll need to manage your own transport and accommodation<\/strong>, if necessary<\/p>\n
