Introduction<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Judicial Inspectorate for Correctional Services (JICS)<\/strong> is inviting unemployed South African youth<\/strong> to apply for entry-level government positions<\/strong> available at multiple correctional centres across the country. These opportunities are for Independent Correctional Centre Visitors (ICCVs)<\/strong>\u2014a vital role in promoting oversight, accountability, and the protection of human rights within South African correctional facilities.<\/p>\n

JICS is an independent office under the Ministry of Justice and Correctional Services and plays a crucial role in monitoring the conditions of detention and the treatment of inmates<\/strong>. As an ICCV, you will be at the frontlines of justice and human rights protection in correctional services, acting as a bridge between inmates, correctional staff, and external stakeholders.<\/p>\n
