Job Overview:<\/strong>
South African Breweries (SAB) is looking for a Packaging Operator to join its high-performing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation and upkeep of packaging equipment and processes to ensure optimal production efficiency, quality, and compliance.<\/p>\n

\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • \n

    Operate packaging equipment and oversee related processes to meet performance targets.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Interpret and execute the shift production plan.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Run both manual and automated machinery according to operational standards.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Maintain product quality, productivity, hygiene, and food safety standards.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Complete administrative tasks, including monitoring process performance and initiating corrective actions when necessary.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Manage PIMS and POMS systems and address negative performance trends.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Utilize OFRs in line with defined triggers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Contribute to AB reports as required.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Promote and maintain a safe and healthy working environment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \n

    Minimum Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • \n

      Grade 12 qualification.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      N3 certification.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      At least 9 months of on-the-job training and completion of SKAP within 12 months.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Previous experience in an FMCG packaging environment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
