🔹 ABOUT THE ROLE
Successful candidates will support underground mining operations by assisting with daily mining duties, maintaining workplace safety, and following operational procedures underground.
This role requires individuals who are physically fit, safety-conscious, and willing to work rotational underground shifts in a demanding mining environment.

⛏ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
✅ Carry out underground mining duties safely and efficiently
✅ Work rotational underground shifts as required
✅ Follow supervisor instructions and mining procedures
✅ Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness underground
✅ Comply with Health and Safety and MHSA regulations
✅ Report hazards, defects, or operational issues immediately
✅ Assist mining teams with general operational tasks

📋 REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
✔ Grade 11 or ABET equivalent
✔ MQA Competency B Certificate
✔ Ability to communicate in English
✔ Fluency in one of South Africa’s official languages
✔ South African citizenship
✔ Clear criminal record
✔ Must be medically fit for underground work
✔ Ability to work under pressure and in shift environments
✔ Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
