The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Social Development is recruiting 519 EPWP Participants across various district offices and service centres in KwaZulu-Natal under the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP).

This opportunity is designed to provide unemployed individuals with work experience in cleaning and facility support services.

⚠️ Important: Applicants who have already participated in any EPWP programme will NOT be considered.

📋 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

✔ ABET qualification
✔ Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment
✔ Good communication skills
✔ Reliable and hardworking attitude
✔ Ability to work in teams

🧹 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Cleaning Duties

• Clean offices, kitchens, and restrooms
• Maintain cleanliness of working areas
• Support general facility hygiene

Equipment & Maintenance

• Handle cleaning materials and equipment
• Ensure safe and hygienic working environments
• Follow workplace cleaning procedures
