A busy bakery production facility in Aeroton is recruiting a General Worker / Cleaner to support maintenance and production operations in an industrial factory environment.

This role is ideal for candidates with factory or production experience who are comfortable working with machinery, maintenance tasks, and industrial cleaning.

🧰 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean divider equipment according to safety and supplier standards
• Lubricate divider machinery and ensure oiling systems function properly
• Conduct routine inspections and daily equipment checks
• Report faults or damages to the Shift Foreman
• Assist with divider changeovers and setup processes
• Support monitoring and recording of dough production standards
• Perform weekly and monthly lubrication tasks
• Assist maintenance artisans in the make-up area
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in production areas
• Work safely around heavy industrial machinery

📋 REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

✔ Matric / Grade 12
✔ Minimum 1 year factory or production experience
✔ Basic knowledge of mechanical or engineering processes
✔ Welding, grinding, or painting experience (advantageous)
✔ Understanding of food safety & occupational health standards
✔ Good communication and teamwork skills
✔ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
✔ Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
✔ Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime
