About the Opportunity
adidas is currently looking for Retail Sales Associates and Permanent Part-Time Store Assistants to join stores across South Africa.
This opportunity is perfect for motivated, customer-focused individuals who enjoy fashion, sportswear, and working in a fast-paced retail environment. Successful candidates will play an important role in daily store operations while helping customers enjoy a top-quality shopping experience.
Main Duties
- Assist customers with choosing products and provide excellent service.
- Handle payments and sales transactions accurately using store systems.
- Help replenish stock and move merchandise between the stockroom and shop floor.
- Maintain attractive product displays and merchandising standards.
- Keep the store clean, organised, and visually appealing.
- Apply selling techniques to meet sales goals and promote products.
- Support loss prevention measures and protect company property.
- Assist with pricing, stock counts, and store administration tasks.
- Attend training sessions to improve retail and product knowledge.
- Provide support to management with everyday store operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- Previous retail experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Good communication and customer service abilities.
- Interest in fashion, sportswear, and retail.
- Ability to work in a busy retail environment.
- Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
- Able to work both independently and within a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills.
