Maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in a range of government agencies spread throughout all nine provinces in South Africa will be your responsibility as a Government Cleaner. Your contributions will ensure that the working environment for government employees and guests remains safe and hygienic.

Duties:
-General housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping will fall under your purview.
-Clean and sanitize any space you have been given, such as the conference rooms, offices, and restrooms.
-Trash cans should be cleaned out and the rubbish should be disposed of with other trash.
-Clean all window panes, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
-Common spaces, including lobbies, stairwells, and hallways, must always be maintained clean.
-Comply with the prescribed cleaning techniques and procedures.
-Make sure you abide by all health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
-Must have completed at least Grade 10 in school (or equivalent).
-While not required, prior janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred.
-The capacity to function both independently and collaboratively.
-Excellent detail-orientedness and thoroughness in task completion.
Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
-Excellent physical stamina and the capacity for manual labour.
-Knowledge of cleaning supplies and tools is advantageous.
-Ability to work a variety of hours, including weekends and federal holidays, as needed.
Requirements:
-AET Level 4 or Grade 9 is required.
-Competencies, abilities, and knowledge Needed:
-familiarity with service delivery initiatives. familiarity in using devices.
-the capacity to understand and follow directions.
-the capacity to carry out daily duties.
-the capacity to use household appliances.
-basic abilities in reading and math.
