Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate, goal-driven, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales Associate. Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Engagement

Act as a brand ambassador by welcoming and engaging with customers in a professional, friendly, and enthusiastic manner.

Assist customers throughout their shopping journey—offering product advice, locating sizes, answering questions, and providing helpful suggestions to improve their experience.
2. Sales Excellence

Proactively identify and understand customer needs and recommend suitable products that match their preferences and lifestyle.

Use effective sales techniques to maximize individual and team sales performance, including upselling and cross-selling.

Consistently strive to achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

Stay motivated, results-driven, and committed to contributing to overall store revenue.
3. Product Knowledge

Maintain an in-depth understanding of current product offerings, collections, promotions, and trends in fashion, sportswear, and accessories.

Attend product knowledge training and team briefings to stay informed.

Use your knowledge to confidently educate and guide customers during their shopping experience.
4. Stock Management & Merchandising

Assist with stock replenishment to ensure all items are available, properly displayed, and aligned with merchandising guidelines.

Set up in-store displays and promotional zones as per seasonal marketing plans.

Maintain store appearance by ensuring all merchandise is neatly presented, tagged, and in the correct location.

Perform regular stock counts, report discrepancies, and assist with inventory processes as required.
5. Problem Solving & Customer Issue Resolution

Respond to customer inquiries, returns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

Use empathy, active listening, and company policies to resolve issues effectively and build customer trust.

Escalate complex issues to store management when necessary, ensuring all customers feel heard and respected.
6. Team Support & Store Contribution

Work collaboratively with your team members to achieve shared store objectives.

Support team members during busy trading periods, promotional campaigns, and stock takes.

Contribute to a positive and inclusive work culture where mutual respect, accountability, and excellence are prioritized.

Assist with general store duties including opening and closing procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications and Experience

Education: A Grade 12 (Matric) certificate is required.

Experience: Previous experience in retail, fashion, sportswear, or customer service roles will be advantageous but is not mandatory. Training will be provided.

Retail Systems: Basic understanding of point-of-sale systems, stock control software, or electronic inventory tools is a plus.
