The City of Ekurhuleni is inviting applications for temporary Indigent Fieldworker positions within the Community Services Department.

🛠 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

🏠 Household Verification
• Conduct manual and electronic verification of indigent applications
• Visit households within allocated wards
• Interview applicants and collect required information

💻 Data & System Administration
• Check municipal account status using the Solar and Indigent Management System
• Capture, sort, compile, and verify collected information accurately
• Submit completed reports and feedback to team leaders

🚨 Community Support Duties
• Report water leaks and electrical faults through the correct municipal channels
• Participate in indigent awareness campaigns
• Identify and report social challenges affecting households

🎓 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 11 qualification
• Ability to read and write
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic data capturing and administrative skills
• Willingness to undergo training
