🛠 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

🚨 Security Services
• Protect municipal buildings, personnel, and assets
• Maintain a visible security presence
• Prevent incidents and promote safety

🚪 Access Control
• Monitor entry and exit points
• Perform access control duties
• Enforce security procedures and safety standards

📹 Monitoring & Surveillance
• Operate CCTV cameras and security equipment
• Monitor suspicious activities and risks
• Report incidents immediately

📝 Administration & Reporting
• Complete security reports and incident documentation accurately
• Record daily operational activities
• Assist during emergencies and maintain order

⏰ Operational Duties
• Work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required
• Support safety operations within the department

🎓 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 10 qualification
• Basic Security Course qualification (PSIRA)
• Registered Security Officer with PSIRA
• Minimum 1 year security experience
• No criminal record or illicit activities recorded
