Job Overview
VKB Group is currently recruiting four General Workers to join various operations across Limpopo, Northern Cape, and KwaZulu-Natal. Successful candidates will assist with daily operational activities including product handling, stock movement, loading, cleaning, and general support duties to ensure the smooth running of operations.
About the Role
As a General Worker, you will contribute to the efficient operation of VKB facilities by performing a variety of manual and support tasks. The position requires physically fit individuals who are committed to maintaining high standards of safety, productivity, and teamwork.
You will work closely with supervisors and fellow team members to help achieve operational goals while ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with loading, bagging, storing, and handling agricultural products.
- Support stock control and product movement activities.
- Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties.
- Assist with daily operational and warehouse activities.
- Operate tractors and equipment when authorised and required.
- Provide support to customers and operational teams.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and safety standards.
- Carry out additional duties assigned by management.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet operational targets.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
- Between 0 and 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Clear criminal record.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable and responsible work ethic.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- Punctual, hardworking, and committed to achieving results.
