Salary

R144,024 per annum (Salary Level 2)

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

• Hold an ABET Level 4, Grade 9 (Standard 7), or equivalent NQF Level 1 qualification.

• Be a South African citizen.

• Be proficient in English and at least one other official South African language.

• Have basic reading, writing, and numeracy skills.

• Have knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and hygiene procedures.

• Understand Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements.

• Be able to use basic cleaning equipment.

• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Be willing to work extended hours when operationally required.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Keeping SAPS offices and facilities clean and hygienic.

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and maintaining floors.

• Dusting offices, furniture, and workspaces.

• Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.

• Emptying refuse bins and disposing of waste appropriately.

• Washing windows when required.

• Cleaning office equipment, kitchen utensils, and related items.

• Loading, unloading, and storing cleaning materials.

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all allocated areas.
