Key Responsibilities
As a General Worker (Stores), your duties will include:
- Loading and offloading stock from delivery vehicles.
- Transporting stock and supplies to hospital departments and clinics.
- Receiving and unpacking stock from bulk storage.
- Preparing stock for courier collection and distribution.
- Packing and storing stock according to departmental procedures.
- Rotating stock using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method.
- Keeping the stores area clean, organised, and hygienic.
- Assisting with moving hospital equipment when required.
- Supporting filing and general administrative tasks.
- Participating in stock-taking and inventory control activities.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Valid Code B/EB driver’s licence.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy boxes.
- Experience in a warehouse, stores, stockroom, or distribution environment.
Skills and Competencies
