Premier is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Admin Clerk to join the Operational Finance team at Lil-Lets SA in Durban. The successful candidate will provide administrative and financial support by assisting with creditor management, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient day-to-day office operations.
About the Role
As an Admin Clerk, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance department through the accurate processing of financial information, record keeping, and administrative coordination. The position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced business environment.
You will work closely with suppliers, internal departments, and finance team members to ensure smooth and efficient financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and creditor administration activities.
- Capture, process, and maintain financial records accurately.
- Support daily administrative and office functions.
- Verify and reconcile financial information and transactions.
- Maintain organised filing systems and financial documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.
- Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and administrative documents when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
- Provide general administrative support to the Operational Finance team.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) with Accounting.
- Bookkeeping or Accounting Certificate will be advantageous.
- 2–3 years’ experience within Accounts Payable, FMCG, or a finance-related environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Knowledge of financial systems and processes.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Own reliable transport.
