Job Purpose

The successful candidates will support store operations by assisting customers, processing sales transactions, replenishing stock, and maintaining high standards of customer service and store presentation.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Assist customers in a friendly, helpful, and professional manner.
• Deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
• Help customers locate products and respond to enquiries.
• Contribute to a positive and enjoyable shopping experience.

Cashier Duties

• Operate tills and process transactions accurately.
• Handle cash and payments responsibly.
• Ensure accuracy when processing customer purchases.
• Adhere to company cash-handling procedures and policies.

Sales and Merchandising

• Promote products and support store sales objectives.
• Assist in achieving sales targets and performance goals.
• Replenish shelves and ensure stock is readily available.
• Maintain attractive and organised product displays.

Stock Control

• Assist with stock counts and inventory management activities.
• Help reduce stock losses through proper stock control practices.
• Maintain accurate stock records where required.

Store Operations

• Maintain high housekeeping and cleanliness standards.
• Support daily operational activities within the store.
• Contribute to PEP’s low-cost culture and overall business objectives.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Grade 10, Grade 11, or Grade 12 (Matric).
