🏢 JOB OVERVIEW
The municipality is seeking reliable, hardworking, and dedicated individuals to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in municipal buildings, libraries, community halls, housing facilities, customer service centres, and other municipal properties.
Depending on the assigned department, successful candidates may also assist with hospitality duties and general facility support services.

✅ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
🧹 Cleaning & Hygiene
✔ Clean municipal offices and public facilities
✔ Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors
✔ Dust furniture, workstations, and equipment
✔ Clean windows, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
✔ Ensure facilities remain neat, hygienic, and presentable
🏛 Facility Maintenance
✔ Maintain cleanliness in libraries and community halls
✔ Clean municipal housing offices and residential facilities
✔ Maintain hygiene standards at Licensing and Testing Centres
✔ Report maintenance concerns and defects when identified
☕ General Support Duties
✔ Assist with kitchen maintenance where required
✔ Prepare refreshments for visitors when necessary
✔ Support daily facility operations
✔ Carry out additional cleaning duties assigned by supervisors

🎓 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have:
✔ Grade 10
✔ At least 1 year of relevant cleaning experience
✔ Good communication skills
✔ Good interpersonal skills

✔ Ability to work under different workplace and weather conditions where applicable
