Key Responsibilities
As a Merchandiser or Health Merchandiser, your responsibilities will include:

Replenishing shelves to ensure products remain available for customers.

Packing delivered stock and placing merchandise in the correct locations.
-
Maintaining clean, organised, and fully stocked shelves.
-
Rotating stock according to the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) principle.
-
Checking expiry dates and removing expired or damaged products.
-
Reporting low stock, damaged merchandise, and pricing discrepancies.
-
Assisting with stock counts and inventory control activities.
-
Following store layouts, merchandising standards, and planograms.
-
Building and maintaining promotional displays.
-
Assisting with loading and offloading stock deliveries.
-
Labelling products correctly, including items without barcodes.
-
Assisting customers with product enquiries and stock availability.
-
Maintaining clean stockrooms and sales floor areas.
-
Following company health, safety, and security procedures.
-
Assisting with the onboarding and training of new employees when required.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric).
-
Up to six months of retail experience.
-
One year or more of retail experience will be advantageous.
-
Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
-
Willingness to work retail trading hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy boxes.
-
Reliable transport or residence close to the relevant store.
-
South African citizenship.
-
Clear criminal and credit records.
