First National Bank (FNB), a division of FirstRand Bank Limited, is recruiting Community Advisors for its Alternative Channels division. This 12-month fixed-term opportunity is available in various provinces and cities across South Africa and is ideal for enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with customers and promoting financial services.

Successful candidates will be stationed at selected Pick n Pay stores, where they will assist customers with banking solutions, promote FNB products, and deliver excellent customer service while representing the FNB brand.


About the Community Advisor Position

The Community Advisor role is designed for individuals who are passionate about customer service, sales, and community engagement. Working in FNB’s Alternative Channels division, successful applicants will interact directly with customers, helping them understand banking products and recommending solutions that suit their financial needs.

Employees will work flexible shifts at designated Pick n Pay branches while contributing to FNB’s mission of delivering accessible banking services to communities across South Africa.

Salary

Successful candidates will receive:

  • Monthly salary: Approximately R6,300

  • Hourly rate: R70 per hour

  • Maximum of 90 working hours per month


Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • South African citizen

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification or higher

  • Willing and able to work shifts

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Comfortable interacting with customers in a professional environment
