Triton Express, one of Southern Africa’s leading road freight and logistics providers, is seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Worker Cleaner to join its Johannesburg branch.

The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workplace while assisting with general maintenance and housekeeping activities throughout the facility.

Job Purpose

The General Worker Cleaner will be responsible for supporting cleanliness, facility upkeep, and maintenance operations to ensure a safe and professional working environment for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the yard and surrounding areas.
• Carry out general building and facility maintenance tasks.
• Assist with the upkeep of roller doors, lighting systems, flooring, painting, and basic welding activities.
• Perform housekeeping duties across all designated work areas.
• Support gardening and grounds maintenance activities.
• Safely operate and use hand tools and power tools when required.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, hazards, and safety concerns.
• Ensure high standards of workplace cleanliness and presentation are maintained.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of vehicles.
• Forklift Driver’s Licence will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Own reliable transportation to and from the workplace.

Monday to Friday
