Overview

Curro, a leading independent education provider, is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Worker to join the team at Curro Protea Glen. This role supports the smooth operation of the school through maintenance, gardening, and general facility upkeep.

Key Responsibilities

– Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks (e.g. plumbing, fixing equipment)

– Conduct daily inspections of school facilities

– Maintain gardens, including mowing lawns and caring for plants

– Assist with school safety and traffic control when required

– Ensure tools and equipment are kept clean and stored properly

– Provide general support across the school as needed

– Assist with driving duties from time to time

Requirements & Skills

• Valid Code 10 driver’s licence with PDP
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Presentable, reliable, and responsible
• Clear criminal record (essential)
• Ability to perform manual and maintenance tasks
