KFC is hiring Lobby Hosts for its branches in East London and Gqeberha. This is a permanent position focused on customer service and front-of-house operations.
OVERVIEW
The role is designed for individuals who enjoy interacting with people and creating a welcoming environment. As a Lobby Host, you will help ensure smooth service, assist customers during their visit, and enhance the overall dining experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional way
- Manage queues and help reduce waiting times
- Support customers using self-service kiosks and digital ordering systems
- Promote menu items and inform customers about specials
- Identify and resolve service delays or issues
- Coordinate between staff, delivery drivers, and customers
- Ensure front-of-house systems and equipment are working properly
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards
- Pay attention to customer needs to improve their experience
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Customer service certificate (advantageous)
- 6–12 months experience in a similar role
- Strong communication skills in English
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and high energy levels
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
