Key Responsibilities
Successful applicants will be responsible for:

Picking, packing, and moving stock to designated storage areas.

Loading and off-loading vehicles safely and efficiently.

Assisting crane operators by slinging materials for transport and delivery.

Participating in stock counts and inventory control activities.
-
Labelling products correctly for easy identification.

Maintaining clean and organised workstations through regular housekeeping.

Operating safely while wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Assisting with production machinery and general operational duties.

Following company safety policies, operational procedures, and quality standards.

Completing additional duties assigned by supervisors when required.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants interested in the Macsteel General Workers Jobs 2026 should meet the following requirements:

Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or a Higher Certificate.

Good communication skills in English.

Physically fit and capable of lifting, moving, and handling stock.
