Job Summary
We are looking for energetic, self-motivated, and performance-driven individuals to join our retail team. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for customer service, sales, and working in a fast-paced retail environment. The Retail Sales Associate will be responsible for delivering excellent in-store experiences, assisting with daily operations, and upholding the brand’s values and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service:

Deliver exceptional service by welcoming and assisting customers in a professional and friendly manner.

Ensure customers find the products they are looking for, offer product advice, and handle queries and complaints efficiently.

Contribute to a positive and engaging in-store atmosphere that promotes repeat business and customer loyalty.
Point-of-Sale Operations:

Process cash, card, and lay-by transactions accurately and efficiently.

Handle returns and customer refunds in accordance with company policies.

Ensure the till is balanced and all discrepancies are reported to the supervisor.
Merchandising and Stock Handling:

Ensure shelves and displays are fully stocked, clean, well-organized, and correctly priced.

Assist with unpacking and receiving deliveries.

Maintain high visual merchandising standards in line with promotional campaigns and seasonal themes.

Monitor product availability and communicate stock shortages to management.
Loss Prevention and Risk Awareness:

Assist in stock counts and inventory control.

Monitor and report any suspicious customer activity or behavior to prevent shoplifting and internal loss.

Ensure that all products are correctly tagged and labeled in accordance with company policies.
Brand Representation and Company Policy Compliance:

Uphold company values and consistently follow all store procedures and policies.

Demonstrate professionalism and a strong work ethic at all times.

Support your team to meet daily sales goals and operational targets.
Minimum Requirements

Grade 10 certificate (Grade 12 / Matric preferred).

Must be a South African citizen or hold a valid work permit.

Clear criminal record.
-
Willingness and ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Proficiency in English is essential; fluency in an additional South African language is advantageous.

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks (e.g., lifting, unpacking stock).
