Job Summary

We are looking for energetic, self-motivated, and performance-driven individuals to join our retail team. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for customer service, sales, and working in a fast-paced retail environment. The Retail Sales Associate will be responsible for delivering excellent in-store experiences, assisting with daily operations, and upholding the brand’s values and standards.


Key Responsibilities

Customer Service:

  • Deliver exceptional service by welcoming and assisting customers in a professional and friendly manner.

  • Ensure customers find the products they are looking for, offer product advice, and handle queries and complaints efficiently.

  • Contribute to a positive and engaging in-store atmosphere that promotes repeat business and customer loyalty.

Point-of-Sale Operations:

  • Process cash, card, and lay-by transactions accurately and efficiently.

  • Handle returns and customer refunds in accordance with company policies.

  • Ensure the till is balanced and all discrepancies are reported to the supervisor.

Merchandising and Stock Handling:

  • Ensure shelves and displays are fully stocked, clean, well-organized, and correctly priced.

  • Assist with unpacking and receiving deliveries.

  • Maintain high visual merchandising standards in line with promotional campaigns and seasonal themes.

  • Monitor product availability and communicate stock shortages to management.

Loss Prevention and Risk Awareness:

  • Assist in stock counts and inventory control.

  • Monitor and report any suspicious customer activity or behavior to prevent shoplifting and internal loss.

  • Ensure that all products are correctly tagged and labeled in accordance with company policies.

Brand Representation and Company Policy Compliance:

  • Uphold company values and consistently follow all store procedures and policies.

  • Demonstrate professionalism and a strong work ethic at all times.

  • Support your team to meet daily sales goals and operational targets.


Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 10 certificate (Grade 12 / Matric preferred).

  • Must be a South African citizen or hold a valid work permit.

  • Clear criminal record.

  • Willingness and ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.

  • Proficiency in English is essential; fluency in an additional South African language is advantageous.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks (e.g., lifting, unpacking stock).
