Sasol is looking for a qualified Heavy Duty Driver to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of lubricants to customers within Sasol’s retail and commercial network.


Job Purpose

The role focuses on delivering products efficiently while maintaining high safety standards, accuracy, and excellent service to customers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and accurately

  • Safely transport lubricants using Sasol’s fleet

  • Follow loading instructions using internal systems

  • Conduct vehicle inspections before trips and report any issues

  • Communicate with the Logistics Command Centre when delays or issues occur

  • Accurately complete delivery documentation and report any discrepancies

  • Follow the planned delivery schedule

  • Reduce downtime and improve efficiency

  • Identify and report risks in line with safety regulations (OHS Act)

  • Report incidents and assist with Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

  • Prevent spillages and contamination during deliveries

  • Follow all SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, and Quality) procedures

  • Carry out all duties in line with company policies and safety standards


Educational Requirements

  • Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

  • Valid Code EC (Code 14) driver’s licence

  • Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)


Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years driving experience
