Overview
Babylonstoren is looking for Junior Security Officers to join its team.
The role focuses on maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for both guests and staff within the estate. This position suits individuals who are disciplined, alert, and professional in handling security operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Control access at main and service gates
- Ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property
- Monitor and operate CCTV systems
- Conduct regular patrols and respond to incidents
- Enforce security procedures and company policies
- Report suspicious activities or security risks
- Maintain accurate logs and incident reports
- Assist guests in a professional and helpful manner
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- PSIRA Grade C certificate (essential)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar security role
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and security operations
- Understanding of SAIDSA security standards
- Good communication skills (English and Afrikaans)
- Professional appearance and good conduct
- Valid driver’s licence and own transport
- Clean criminal record
- Ability to follow procedures and act responsibly
- Preferably reside near Franschhoek
