Overview
Babylonstoren is hiring a Picker & Packer to join its dispatch team.
This role focuses on ensuring that customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently, while maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick products accurately based on order sheets
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during transport
- Label, wrap, and prepare goods for dispatch (including palletising)
- Perform quality and quantity checks before dispatch
- Keep dispatch and storage areas clean and organised
- Complete dispatch and traceability documentation
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory counts
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Report any shortages, damages, or discrepancies
Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse, dispatch, or logistics (advantageous)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
