Job Overview
Sun City Resort is currently inviting applications for 29 Driver positions to join its hospitality and guest services division. This opportunity is well suited to professional and customer-oriented individuals who possess a valid Code 10 driver’s licence and Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
Successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring guests enjoy safe, comfortable, and efficient transportation services while experiencing world-class hospitality throughout their stay at the resort.
About the Role
As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting guests to various locations within and around the resort, assisting with luggage handling, and providing exceptional customer service. The role requires professionalism, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport guests safely to designated destinations within and outside the resort.
- Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage.
- Provide a professional and welcoming experience for all guests.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Ensure vehicles remain clean, fuelled, and in roadworthy condition.
- Assist with valet parking and vehicle management when required.
- Follow approved transport routes and maintain accurate trip records.
- Respond to guest enquiries and provide information about resort facilities and attractions.
- Support VIP guest arrivals and special transportation requests.
- Report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.
- Assist with additional transport and delivery duties as required by operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence.
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- Clean driving record.
- Previous customer service experience will be advantageous.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to use GPS navigation systems and read maps.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of local routes and tourist attractions will be beneficial.
- Physically fit and able to assist with luggage handling.
