Dis-Chem Pharmacies is inviting applications for Casual Cashier opportunities at its Cosmo City store. This recruitment is aimed at building a talent pool for future vacancies, making it suitable for individuals with cashier experience who are looking for flexible retail work.
Successful candidates will support point-of-sale operations by processing transactions accurately and delivering professional customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash, card, and voucher transactions
• Promote and process loyalty programme memberships
• Assist customers with product and pricing enquiries
• Process refunds and exchanges according to company procedures
• Maintain high standards of customer service
• Balance tills and ensure accurate cash handling
• Promote in-store specials and campaigns
• Follow security, fraud prevention, and company policies
• Ensure all items are scanned and paid for correctly

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Grade 12 (Matric)
• At least 6 months cashier or till operation experience
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office)
• Good numerical and cash-handling skills
• Good command of English
• Customer service skills
• Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
