📢 JOB OVERVIEW

A Driver position is available for Code 8 or Code 10 licensed drivers responsible for safe, timely, and accurate deliveries. The role involves transporting goods, maintaining vehicle standards, and ensuring excellent customer service at all times.

🛠 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

🚦 Safe Driving & Compliance
• Operate company vehicles safely and follow all road traffic laws
• Adhere to company driving policies and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean driving record

📦 Deliveries & Transport
• Deliver goods to customers and branches on scheduled routes
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Assist with loading and offloading when required

✔ Accuracy & Documentation
• Ensure correct stock is delivered
• Obtain signed Proof of Delivery (POD) documents
• Submit all delivery paperwork accurately and on time

🚛 Vehicle Care & Maintenance
• Perform daily vehicle inspections (pre-trip and post-trip)
• Report faults or issues immediately
• Keep vehicle clean and in good condition

📞 Communication
• Maintain communication with dispatch and supervisors
• Report delays, issues, or route problems promptly

🤝 Customer Service
• Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers
• Handle queries politely and escalate issues when needed

🎓 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Code 8 or Code 10 driver’s license
• Valid PDP (advantage for some roles)
• Previous driving experience preferred
• Good knowledge of local routes
• Basic communication and literacy skills
• Physically fit for loading/unloading duties
