🔹 ABOUT THE ROLE

Successful candidates will assist with cargo handling, cleaning operations, terminal support duties, and maintaining safe operational areas within the port terminal environment.

This role is suitable for hardworking individuals interested in logistics, shipping, and freight operations.

🚢 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

✅ Assist with loading and off-loading cargo
✅ Open and close rail wagon twist-locks
✅ Hook and unhook cargo equipment
✅ Place and remove dunnage materials
✅ Assist with tarping and untarping duties
✅ Clean crane cabins, equipment, workshops, and operational areas
✅ Conduct reefer monitoring and inspect containers
✅ Complete required reports and documentation
✅ Maintain safety and housekeeping standards at all times

📋 REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

✔ Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
✔ Minimum 1 year work experience
✔ Terminal experience is advantageous
✔ Ability to work in physically demanding environments
✔ Attention to detail and cleanliness
✔ Good teamwork and communication skills
✔ Ability to follow operational safety procedures
✔ Reliable and physically fit
