Salary: R165 564 – R193 476 per annum

Total Package: R242 666 – R278 193 per annum
Job Purpose
To assist the Team Leader with maintenance and repair work on wastewater and water systems, ensuring efficient operation of sewer and water networks.
Minimum Requirements
-
Basic literacy skills
-
Physically fit and able to perform manual labour (no back problems)
-
Experience in wastewater or maintenance work is advantageous
-
Willingness to undergo a criminal record check (at own cost via Tshwane Metro Police)
-
Ability to work shifts, standby, and overtime when required
Key Responsibilities
-
Clear sewer blockages
-
Dig and refill trenches using manual tools
-
Load and offload tools, materials, and equipment
-
Operate water pumping equipment
-
Assist with pipe repairs and alignment
-
Maintain tools and equipment
-
Clean work areas, vehicles, and depot after tasks
-
Follow Occupational Health and Safety regulations
-
Perform general duties as required
