Overview

BUCO and HHL have opened applications for 14 permanent Driver vacancies across several branches. These roles are ideal for experienced and dependable drivers who are committed to safe transportation, excellent customer service, and efficient delivery operations.

Successful applicants will be responsible for transporting goods, assisting with loading and unloading, inspecting vehicles, completing delivery documentation, and ensuring products reach customers safely and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers safely, efficiently, and within scheduled timeframes.
• Ensure loads are secured correctly before transportation.
• Assist with loading and unloading stock and building materials.
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report mechanical faults or damages.
• Keep company vehicles clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.
• Complete delivery notes and related documentation accurately.
• Collect Cash-on-Delivery (COD) payments where required.
• Minimise product damage, shortages, and losses during transportation.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service during deliveries.
• Comply with road traffic regulations and company transport policies.
• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment where authorised.
• Adhere to company safety standards, procedures, and values.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• Valid driver’s licence suitable for the vehicle category.
• At least 2 years of relevant driving experience.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of responsibility.
• Physically fit and capable of loading and unloading goods.
• Forklift licence and operating experience will be advantageous for Forklift Driver positions.
