About the Position
As a General Worker, you will support daily production and warehouse operations by recording production data, managing stock movements, preparing pallets, and ensuring compliance with Tiger Brands’ food safety and quality standards.
The role also involves assisting with inventory control, stock reconciliation, warehouse activities, and general operational duties to ensure efficient production processes and accurate stock management.
Key Responsibilities
Production and Stock Control
The successful candidate will:

Capture and process production and stock movements using the Oracle system.
-
Record all stock transactions accurately and within required timeframes.
-
Balance and reconcile stock at the end of every shift.
-
Conduct daily stock counts and inventory reconciliations.
-
Investigate and report stock variances or discrepancies.
-
Provide accurate production and inventory information to supervisors.
Warehouse Operations
Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing, labelling, and stretch-wrapping pallets.
-
Ensuring pallets are correctly labelled with compliance and traceability documentation.

Assisting with receiving, staging, moving, and dispatching stock.
-
Completing warehouse and production documentation accurately.
-
Supporting stock audits and inventory investigations.
General Operational Duties
You will also be expected to:

Maintain high housekeeping and cleanliness standards.

Assist production teams whenever required.
-
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
-
Perform additional operational duties assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric).

Excellent mathematical and numerical skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Good computer literacy.

Ability to work with stock management and inventory systems.

Ability to perform stock calculations and reconciliations accurately.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
