Job Overview

About the Position

The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of Airlink’s operational facilities and aircraft in accordance with approved company procedures and aviation maintenance standards. The successful candidate will contribute to a safe, hygienic, and professional working environment while supporting the airline’s daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Cleaning Airlink facilities in accordance with company standards.

• Cleaning aircraft using approved aviation maintenance and cleaning procedures.

• Ensuring all assigned work areas remain clean, organised, and presentable.

• Adhering to all aviation safety regulations and operational procedures.

• Safely operating and handling cleaning equipment, tools, and materials.

• Reporting maintenance defects, equipment faults, or safety hazards to the relevant supervisor.

• Assisting with the efficient day-to-day operations of the cleaning team.

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent N4 qualification.

• A valid Code 10 driver’s licence.

• Previous experience in a cleaning environment, preferably within the aviation industry.
