Apprenticeship Training Program Overview

• Program Duration: 4 years (Levels 1–4)

• Training Venue: Imperial Technical Training Academy (ITTA), Johannesburg

• Additional Training: 5 days every 5 weeks at ITTA

• Learning Method: CDX distance learning platform

• Assessments: Computer-based tests and practical competency evaluations

• Contracts:

  • CBMT contract with merSETA

  • Learnership contract with Lindsay Saker Kempton Park

• Workplace Experience: Lindsay Saker Bloemfontein Service Department

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Matric certificate with Mathematics and Physical Science

• Basic computer literacy

• Successful completion of a mechanical insight assessment

• Clear criminal background check

• Medical fitness assessment

• Psychometric testing and face-to-face interview for shortlisted candidates
