Job Purpose:

To join our team at the Pedros Distribution Center, we are seeking a gregarious, talented, and motivated barista. The ideal applicant will be in charge of making superior coffee and drinks, serving customers with distinction, and helping the staff keep the place tidy and friendly.

Key Duties:

Make and serve a range of hot beverages, such as teas, specialty cocktails, and espresso-based concoctions.

Keep the service station and coffee preparation area as hygienic as clean as possible.

By adhering to established recipes and preparation methods, you can guarantee constant drink quality.

Give all employees and guests outstanding service while maintaining a friendly, lively, and upbeat demeanor.

Keep track of coffee supply stock levels and promptly indicate any needs for refill.

Run coffee makers and grinders, as well as do routine upkeep and cleaning.

Observe all food hygiene guidelines and health and safety laws.

Keep an eye on the equipment and notify the kitchen or facilities supervisor of any problems.

 

Experience and Qualifications:

 

Matric (Grade 12)

Prior barista experience (ideally one to two years)

familiarity with professional coffee equipment, such as grinders and espresso machines

Basic understanding of or certification in food hygiene (beneficial)
