The South African Police Service (SAPS) is calling on qualified unemployed graduates and students to apply for its 2025/2026 Internship Programme.
This programme offers valuable hands-on work experience in a wide range of fields within SAPS. With over 490 internship roles available across the country, this is a great opportunity to gain exposure to the public service sector and build your career in a meaningful way.
🎯 Purpose of the Internship
The goal of this internship is to support youth development and employment by offering practical workplace training to young people. Through this initiative, SAPS aims to:

✅ Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this programme, applicants must:

Be a South African citizen
-
Be unemployed at the time of application
-
Be between 18 and 35 years old
-
Hold a relevant qualification for the internship applied for (NQF 6/7 or higher for graduates; be currently enrolled for student internships)
-
Have no previous participation in a government internship programme
-
No prior work experience is necessary
