Overview

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is offering a 12-month learnership opportunity for unemployed individuals interested in becoming Visual Merchandisers. This work-integrated learning programme is designed to provide both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in merchandising and commercial operations within designated areas.

Successful candidates will report to the Account Developer and will assist with in-store execution, merchandising activities, customer support, and order facilitation.

Participants are required to successfully complete at least 120 credits to achieve the qualification.

Key Responsibilities

In-Store Execution & Merchandising

• Carry out daily visits according to scheduled outlet calls

• Apply visual merchandising standards in alignment with brand guidelines

• Ensure proper stock rotation and sufficient product availability

• Maintain product visibility in line with RED and execution scorecard requirements

• Complete iRED survey tasks as required

• Support customers with placing orders through the MyCCBA platform

• Assist in executing promotional campaigns to increase brand presence

• Provide relief assistance when necessary

Interaction & Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales Team Members on daily operational tasks

• Receive coaching and direction from the Sales Account Developer

• Engage with customers to understand purchasing patterns and preferences

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 with Mathematics or Maths Literacy (minimum 40%)

• Grade 12 English and a second language (minimum 40%)

• South African citizenship

• Between 18 and 35 years old

• Unemployed at the time of appointment

• Not currently registered for another learnership or full-time studies

• Must not have previously completed the same qualification or learnership

• Available to work six days per week

• Clear criminal and credit record

• Willingness to undergo criminal, ID, and qualification verification

• Must meet Employment Equity requirements

Advantageous:

• Valid driver’s licence

• Post-matric qualification in Sales & Marketing
