Position Overview:
We are seeking a confident, customer-focused Fashion Consultant to join our team at The Fix, Tygervalley. This is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week, with the potential to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts based on store needs.
The ideal candidate is energetic, sales-driven, and passionate about fashion. You should have a keen understanding of current trends, customer preferences, and how to translate fashion into a personal experience for every shopper.

Core Responsibilities:
You’ll play a critical role in making sure every customer walks out feeling seen, styled, and satisfied. Key responsibilities include:
Customer Engagement:
You’ll be the first point of contact for every customer. Your job is to greet them warmly, offer assistance, and create an engaging environment. You’ll ask the right questions, listen actively, and guide them toward products that suit their needs and style.
Sales Performance:
You’ll work towards daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. Using persuasive selling techniques, you’ll encourage product add-ons, drive promotions, and upsell where relevant — all while maintaining integrity and prioritizing the customer experience.
Styling & Product Knowledge:
You must stay informed on what’s trending — including seasonal collections, new drops, and local fashion shifts. Your product knowledge should be strong enough to confidently make styling suggestions, outfit recommendations, and advise customers on sizes, fits, and combinations.
Store Presentation:
Maintaining visual merchandising standards is a shared responsibility. You’ll help ensure the store is neat, well-stocked, and visually aligned with brand guidelines. Displays, mannequins, and promotional signage should be consistently refreshed and kept attractive.
Stock Support:
You’ll assist with stock receiving, replenishment, ticketing, and organizing stockroom areas. You must help ensure that items are available on the floor and accurately priced, with minimal stock discrepancies.
Brand Representation:
Every interaction you have reflects the brand. Whether helping a customer find the perfect outfit, restocking a shelf, or handling a return — you are representing The Fix. Your conduct, appearance, and communication should reflect our identity as a bold, inclusive, and trend-forward brand.
What You Need to Succeed:
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric) is essential

Prior experience in retail, fashion, or customer service is an advantage
