Your Role as a Sales Assistant
As a Cotton On Sales Assistant, you’ll be the face of our brand — delivering amazing experiences to every customer, every day. You’ll:
Welcome & Assist Shoppers: Make customers feel valued from the moment they walk in.
Offer Style Advice: Help customers put together outfits, find their size, and discover what suits them best.
Keep the Store Looking Great: Maintain a tidy, clean, and organized store environment.
Operate the Till: Handle payments, process returns, and ensure transactions are accurate.
Replenish Stock: Unpack deliveries, restock shelves, and keep the latest trends on display.
Hit Sales Targets: Work with your team to meet store goals while creating positive customer experiences.
What You Need to Succeed
Minimum Requirements
Grade 10 certificate or equivalent (Grade 12 preferred).
Good spoken and written communication skills.
A genuine interest in fashion and staying current with trends.
A customer-first mindset and great attention to detail.
Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and adapt quickly.
Flexible availability — including weekends, holidays, and shift work.
Preferred Attributes
Retail or customer service experience (a bonus but not essential).
Friendly and proactive attitude — you’re ready to learn and take initiative.
Team-player with great problem-solving skills and a positive approach.
