1. Position: Visitors Committee Coordinating Officer (VCCO)

Requirements:

Grade 12 / Senior Certificate

National Diploma or Degree in Public Administration/Public Management (NQF 6) or equivalent

5 years’ experience in the Justice Cluster OR 2 years in a supervisory role

Knowledge of:

• • PFMA (Public Finance Management Act)

  • Public Service Act

  • National Treasury Regulations

• Valid driver’s licence

Skills & Competencies:

Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Excellent communication (verbal & written)

Strong leadership, planning & problem-solving

Interpersonal & conflict resolution skills

Ability to work independently, under pressure, and outside normal hours

Key Duties:

Supervise and manage Independent Correctional Centre Visitors (ICCVs)

Attend to general, urgent, and mandatory complaints

Coordinate Visitors Committee and stakeholder meetings

Conduct performance assessments and compile reports

Oversee induction and training of ICCVs

2. Position: Independent Correctional Centre Visitor (ICCV)

Contract Duration: 36 months (Start: March/April 2026)
Salary: R85 620 per annum (Level 5 – 3/8th)
Additional 37% in lieu of benefits
