As a Sales Associate, you will serve as a brand ambassador for Markham. Your mission is to create exceptional shopping experiences for every customer, ensuring they leave the store not only satisfied but inspired by the brand. This role demands enthusiasm, adaptability, and a genuine passion for fashion and people.


Key Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll take ownership of both customer engagement and operational excellence. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  1. Delivering Exceptional Customer Service

    • Welcome customers warmly and assist them in identifying their style needs.

    • Offer personalized fashion advice and product recommendations to enhance the shopping experience.

    • Build relationships with customers to foster brand loyalty and repeat business.

  2. Driving Sales Performance

    • Consistently meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

    • Utilize in-depth product knowledge to upsell and cross-sell effectively.

  3. Merchandising and Stock Management

Minimum Requirements

To be successful in this position, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate (essential).

  • Retail or customer service experience (advantageous but not mandatory).

  • Strong communication skills — both verbal and written.

  • A passion for sales, fashion, and customer interaction.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
