This opportunity is designed for young South Africans who hold a post-matric HR qualification and are eager to gain meaningful workplace exposure within a dynamic and inclusive corporate environment.
Successful candidates will be placed in the Learning and Development (L&D) function within the Human Capital Solutions business unit, where they will gain hands-on experience in HR administration, training coordination, HR systems, stakeholder engagement, and learning analytics.
Purpose of the Programme
The HR Novice Programme provides structured workplace training to individuals who wish to build a career in Human Resources. Interns will participate in practical Learning and Development activities such as coordinating training sessions, administering HR systems, compiling reports, and supporting daily HR operations.
The internship runs for 12 months, with a possibility of extension depending on performance and business requirements.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered, applicants must have:

A post-matric qualification in Human Resources (N6, Diploma, Higher Certificate, Degree, etc.)

No prior work experience required

Basic computer skills
-
Strong willingness to learn and grow in a corporate HR setting

Key Responsibilities
Training Coordination
-
Schedule and coordinate internal and external training sessions
-
Support workshops, induction programmes, and learning events
-
Liaise with facilitators and service providers
-
Ensure smooth communication and logistical arrangements
Records & Documentation
-
Capture and maintain training records on HR systems
-
Manage filing, archiving, and document control processes
-
Ensure confidentiality and accurate record-keeping
Stakeholder Support
-
Provide assistance to employees and line managers
-
Respond to training-related queries
-
Collaborate with various departments to meet learning needs
HR Systems Administration
Exposure to leading HR technologies, including:

SAP Learning Solution (SAP LSO)

T@W Learning Management System
Responsibilities include:

Course registrations

Updating learner information
-
Managing learning workflows
-
Ensuring data accuracy and compliance
Reporting & Analytics

Assist with preparing training reports and dashboards

Track participation, completion rates, and training gaps

Support periodic reporting requirements
General HR Administration

Provide administrative support within Learning and Development

Contribute to process improvement initiatives
