Position Summary
The City of Tshwane is recruiting two Administrative Officers to provide efficient and structured administrative support within the Business Compliance and Regulation Section under the Economic Development Division.
This role is suited to organised and detail-focused individuals who are confident in office administration, financial processes, logistics coordination, and professional communication. The position plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations, proper record management, and effective service delivery within the department.
Purpose of the Role
The Administrative Officer will:

Deliver comprehensive administrative support

Maintain efficient office systems and processes

Assist with financial, procurement, personnel, and logistical functions

Support divisional objectives through accurate reporting and coordination
This role contributes directly to governance, compliance, and regulatory effectiveness within the municipality.
Minimum Requirements
Education
-
Grade 12 (Matric) – compulsory
Experience
-
At least six months of relevant administrative experience
(Experience within government, regulatory, or compliance environments will be advantageous.)
Additional Requirements

Computer literacy (MS Office and digital systems)

Willingness to undergo a criminal record check

Consent to fingerprinting by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost
